Federal Tax Credit Program -Beginning Tax Year 2027- Pending Pennsylvania Participation
How the program works:
This program has a hard cap of $1,700 per individual tax payer.
The tax payer will receive a 100% non-refundable credit for their donation made to a scholarship granting organization.
Can be given to any public school foundation or private schools in states that opt in. Currently, CPSF can support schools in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia.
Donations cannot be earmarked for a specific student and must be used towards tuition, tutoring, special needs services, education technology, books and supplies, transportation, and extended day programs. Scholarship recipients are able to receive both Federal and State scholarships.
If you are currently a Pennsylvania EITC donor, you are not able to participate in the Federal program at this time.
Why choose CPSF to process:
We meet the qualifications put in place as a 501(c)(3) organization.
We provided more than 16,000 scholarships for students across the state of Pennsylvania in 2024.
