School Partnership * UPDATES ON DISTRIBUTION TIMES*
For a school to participate with Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund: - They must be a Pre-k through 12th grade tuition-based school in the state of Pennsylvania. - They must be willing to provide scholarship information for students to CPSF to receive the funds.
How to being working with Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund: - A donor simply needs to select your school as the recipient, either on a joinder agreement or through credits received from the state.
Process of receiving the scholarship dollars: - Once this donation is received and the season is closed out; CPSF will contract the school and let them know that there are funds available. - The scholarship information can be received several different ways; that are all explained in a scholarship packet that is sent from CPSF. - There is about a 10-day turnaround from the time the scholarship information is received at CPSF to when the scholarship are sent to the school. - The Spring round funds are distributed beginning in September and Fall rounds are distributed beginning in March of the following year.
It is CPSF policy that only a school is allowed to be selected by donors, not a student. Parents are also not permitted to donate and the scholarship be credited to their students account, this is a DCED rule. No additional benefit beyond the 90% tax credit is allowed.
