SPE EITC applications for existing donor tax credits sent on May 15, 2019 are generating award letters that began arriving last week. Our charity will be sending existing SPE donor request invoices to existing donors to ask for their fall 2019 donations in the next 30 to 45 days by US post office mail next week.
For any extra credits we have available we will also send new SPE donation requests to new donors on our fall 2019 new donor joinder wait list.
All SPE donors will have time to send in their donation checks and we will follow up with donors by email and phone as we get to the end of this donation cycle to make sure donations are being sent or if requested to move on to the next donor on the wait list.
The new donor DCED EITC SPE award letters applied for July 1, 2019 have not been received yet and may still be several weeks away from being issued. We will reach out to new SPE donors with invoices when these awards arrive.
Donors that have their own EITC award letters arriving are welcome to send donations to us at Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund 227 Jefferson Ave Tyrone PA 16686 with a copy of the award letter and a check. Be sure to include a note or on the check memo line what school you wish to benefit from your EITC donation.
DCED has done a great job of getting EITC letters out on time and so any donors that wish to give for 2019 will need to get moving as we will only have new credits after October for new donors. I expect DCED will get the July 1, 2019 award letters out in the next month or so as that is typically their timeframe. Our charity made many SPE applications for these credits and are budgeted to get several million in awards from the new $25 million SO increase for 2019.
When all our credits for 2019 are exhausted we will post a notice on our website and beginning taking joinders for spring 2020 tax credits with checks due in February 2020.
